Description
Interviews with Kent Nagano and the musicians combine with footage of the orchestra in rehearsal to offer an insight into the close collaboration that takes place between conductor and players. Animated sequences portray episodes from Beethoven's life. At the heart of the film is a technically and visually outstanding concert recording of Beethoven's Symphony No. 3 made at the Philharmonic Hall in Berlin.
