In the harsh desert of North Africa, Captain Michael Gallant of the Foreign Legion is stationed on a peacekeeping mission. While gangs and bandits disrupt local villages, Gallant commands a post of well-trained Legionnaires, leading them into battle and delivering justice wherever it is needed.
Buster Crabbe stars as Captain Gallant. Crabbe's real-life son, Cullen Crabbe, plays the role of an orphaned boy that Gallant raises as his own son. This classic television series also co-stars comedy side-kick veteran Fuzzy Knight and features officers from actual Legion outposts in Morocco.
1. SPIRIT OF CORPS: Novak, a new transfer with a bad record, brutally bullies the other men. Forced into battle alongside his fellow Legionnaires, he learns and important lesson.
2. THE SEARCH : A wealthy tourist visiting North Africa is kidnapped in a public marketplace and held for ransom. The investigation leaves the Legion with more questions about the victim than his whereabouts.
3. DR. LEGIONNAIRE: On an expedition across the desert, the company is surrounded by hostile natives. Captain Gallant and the Legion's doctor agree to be held as hostages in order to spare the lives of the others.
4. LEGION IS OUR HOME: A former German soldier joins the Foreign Legion and is accused of murdering an old girlfriend's brother.
